Reimagining modular sound

Crosstalk Modular doesn’t just do all the technical work. It combines modular samples with the unique layering and processing capabilities of the Crosstalk engine. 10 Phantom Rooms recorded sounds by connecting a variety of modules from hardware manufacturers, partly using a sample rate of 96 kHz. These samples were transformed into an innovative instrument with unique features that you won’t find anywhere else, including real-time sound modification and a dynamic filling (or cross-interaction) effect for each of the four sound layers separately. Crosstalk Modular is created by the innovative tools developer 10 Phantom Rooms . The company, which specializes in next-generation Kontakt tools for film and media composers, was founded by professional sound designer and tool designer Tobias Menguser , along with Paul Haslinger and other creatives. Over his thirty-year career, Tobias has created sounds and tools for many major figures in the industry, including sounds for over 600 film trailers.

• Four layers can be combined, shuffled and adjusted in level, with each layer having individual settings for unique cross-talk effects
• Three sound variations in each preset can be modified with the mouse or modulation wheel, achieving radical transformations with just one movement
