Fracture Sounds – Blueprint: Gentle Strings

This chamber string ensemble was recorded in a large studio room, where he played with muted sounds, creating long, muted articulations. The library contains three microphone signals and a special atmospheric layer created from the original samples.

Blueprint: Gentle Strings is the follow-up to the third library in the series, Blueprint: Gentle Winds . This time, we sampled the String Formations sessions , recorded by a chamber ensemble in The Nave Studio 1.

This means you have access to the same mic signals and ensemble available in String Formations , allowing you to get a feel for how the library sounds before you buy.

Interface

• Control dynamic layers with the modulation wheel/CC1
• Adjust the EQ to change the brightness of the overall sound
• Adjust the level of the atmospheric layer and press S to solo it
• Control the reverb level with additional settings by pressing the gear
• Control three different mic signals at different distances from the instruments. Mute, solo or delete each signal. Adjust the perspective to easily manage all mic signals
• Press the gear for additional settings for density and dynamics, as well as control over global attack and sampling settings

Settings

• Control the amount of pre-roll before each sample. In this library, pre-roll contains the sound of the bow beginning to vibrate the strings before the note is heard, providing a more realistic sound
• Control the volume difference between soft and loud dynamics
• Change the attack envelope, which controls the volume at the beginning of the sample
• Change the sampling envelope to change the decay time of the sample
