Bowed Guitar Clouds is a cinematic Kontakt virtual instrument. Its morphing pad engine creates rich, organic, evolving textures with sounds derived from bowed guitars, including a semi-acoustic bass, a 1950s semi-acoustic electric guitar, and a Portuguese steel-string ukulele (braguinha).

Bowed Guitar Clouds uses Kontakt’s AET Filter technology to smoothly transition between layers of sound, both tonal and non-tonal. The instrument has a simple graphical interface that allows you to control the transformation in each layer (A and B), as well as adjust the balance between these layers. Other controls include distortion, a bandpass filter, delay and reverb, as well as a three-band parametric equalizer.
