The central feature of the main room of Max Richter’s stunning country studio, Studio Richter Mahr, is the famous Steinway Model D Spirio | r grand piano . Used by Max to compose, rehearse and perform his latest works, this special instrument and its delicate nature are entirely in keeping with its sound and spirit.

Recorded in meticulous detail using a variety of modern and vintage microphones and focused on softer dynamics, this precisely sampled virtual instrument is capable of reproducing the level of detail needed to convey the emotion and atmosphere that characterizes Max’s work.

Closed Grand Piano: Microphones
