Welcome to the 8DIО Legacy Piano series – a collection of professionally sampled world-class pianos. This library features a sampled Steinway grand piano, made in Germany in 1928. Its sound is ideal for soundtrack composers, musicians, and anyone looking for the emotional and resonant sound of a grand piano.

We launch our Heritage Series with the release of one of the most precious and sought-after pianos in the history of pianos, namely the specific series of ivory covered Steinway grand pianos that were produced in Germany in 1928. The specific series and era are known to be among the best and the quality of construction is still unmatched – even the strings are still original from 1928. 

This is the perfect piano for soundtrack composers, songwriters and anyone looking for the most advanced emotional and resonant piano. In addition, the instrument was recorded with two sets of microphones (close / internal) and (ambient / player), so that users can customize the sound to their taste, ranging from recordings inside the piano to the natural perspective of the player.

We’ve also added a host of controls (Ex. Volume pedal, Volume release, Noise reduction, EQ, etc.) and a visual velocity editor so you can completely sculpt the piano to your liking. The piano also includes a large selection of convolution reverbs and convolution effects – (.EX Alien Drum, Trumpet Harp, Bells, Guitar) and a selection of Bonus Morphing Patches that can MorphEd directly from the piano.
