Rosewood Grand combines the rich, vibrant sound of the Yamaha C7 grand piano with innovative technologies to deliver incredible tone and a realistic, immersive playing experience. With rarely recorded details this library imitates, you’ll feel like you’re sitting at a real grand piano.

The instrument’s many features include length-dependent release samples, hammer action, and sympathetic resonance. Pressing the damper pedal activates special samples of the damper atmosphere. By allowing the strings to resonate freely when the pedal is pressed, removing the dampers from the strings, this gives the piano’s timbre a rich depth. Releasing the pedal dampens these resonances, narrowing and focusing the sound.

Together, these details give the Rosewood Grand the ultimate in responsiveness and interactivity. Instead of the typical flat, static response, you’ll feel like you’re merging with the instrument in creating the music, a rare quality for a virtual instrument.

Rosewood Grand contains four different sample packs to choose from:

• Tuned. The basic version, capturing the pristine, clean tone of a Yamaha C7 grand piano .
• Bloom. The piano notes have been slightly detuned, giving each note more sustain.
• Felt. A layer of felt has been placed between the hammers and strings, softening the attack of the piano and giving it a warm, bell-like sound.
• Classic. Access the sounds of the original Rosewood Grand library, enhanced by the new engine.
