Inspired by the EMS Flagship Vocoder ( EMS 5000 -1976-) , XILS-lab used the knowledge acquired during the creation of the emulation of both the VCS3 synthesizer and the VP300 VocoderPlus to develop the XILS 5000 Vocoder Model

XILS 5000 is a virtual vocoder that recreates the sound of the legendary EMS Vocoder 5000 hardware synthesizer. The plugin accurately conveys the analog character of the original thanks to the emulation of complex filters and a built-in oscillator. It allows flexible frequency control using a 22-band patch matrix and a built-in pitch tracker. The instrument is ideal for creating classic robotic voices, futuristic effects and deep synth textures.
