Black Octopus Sound – Enchanted Thailand & Burma by David Starfire (WAV, ABLETON)

David Starfire and Black Octopus Sound teamed up to create a new brand of sample packages called Loops For Good, where 10% of each package goes to charity for the needy.Loops for Good’s first package, “Enchanted Thailand & Burma”, contains sounds that were recorded when David went to Southeast Asia to produce his album Karuna. Due to the ongoing political crisis in Burma/Myanmar, more than a million Burmese refugees live in Thailand. David collaborated with local musicians to learn about their culture and support this dysfunctional community. All the musicians featured in this set have been paid for their art, and we donate 10% of the net proceeds of Thai Freedom House in Chiang Mai to educational programs for Burmese refugee children.This one-of-a-kind set of samples includes many unique instruments from the region, including drums, gongs, flutes, xylophone, violin, harp, cymbals and vocals. Even the names of some musicians who played this instrument are included. This is the first package to feature popular signature sounds from David Starfire’s personal collection of drum hits, basses and racks for David Starfire’s Ableton instruments, which will take your electronic dance music or hip-hop productions to the next level!This sample set is full of charm and charm, it is beautifully produced, summarized and mastered by David Starfire. Due to the fact that it is mostly recorded in refugee camps, temples, and field recordings, this set has a unique character that cannot be replicated by sample sets produced in the studio.
