Is there a reason some plugins only install stand-alone? For instance, Solina is one of like more than a handful

These are the ones that are installed stand-alone but no vst versions in FL Studio. Any reason this could be?

Mellotron V
Stage-73 V
SEM V
Solina V
Synclavier V
Synthi V
VOX Continental V
Vocoder V

Can some help with moving the data/sounds to a different drive?

Go to C:\ProgramData\Arturia. Cut and paste that entire folder(Arturia) to your external drive. Then create a symbolic link to Program Data. You can google and search for symbolic link creator.

That’s what I did before I even reached out but I couldn’t figure out how to set it up. Can you take a look at this screenshot and tel me if I have it set up right or if it’s backwards? I actually forgot where I moved the data from. mighthave to reinstall. I remember there being a symlink option while installing and I thought I chose an externaldrive but I don’t know what happened. That “Comfirm Delete” dialog box scares me. Don’t wanna delete anything important by mistake.

Also, What should I have the “Type of Link” set to?

Thanks

Google: “Link shell extension” and install it. If you right-click your mouse, you will find it in your submenu as an extension. Cut that entire Arturia folder and paste it into your external drive. Right-click with your mouse on the Arturia folder that is now in your external disc. Scroll and choose “Pick link Source”. Then go to Program Data, click on an empty place and right-click and choose: “Drop as a symbolic file.” Windows will ask you for confirmation. Say yes and the job is done. The shortcut has now been created. Now test whether everything works. This Link shell extension is very easy and is standard in your submenu, so you better download and install it than the one you are using now.

This worked, thanks a lot! I had to completely uninstall and do a fresh install probably because I had already moved stuff around or something.

Now I have the issue of no presets like everyone else here. Don’t know what’s going on because I didn’t have this problem at first. This issue was the case before I moved the data and created the symlink. I’ll be looking into it but if you have a clue please do let me know

Thanks again!

Disregard the presets issue. Don’t know what happened but it seems to have fixed itself. HA!

To solve the no presets issue:
-Delete the file “C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Presets\db.db3”
-Start the DAW with Admin privileges so it can write a new file on that folder

Always been problems even with the last Arturia V collection with some not installing correctly or bugging out. Looks like this is the same.
