Drums in Color is a collection of 100 original drum breaks and percussion loops. The vision behind this kit was to bring back the drum tones and textures of the late 60s and 70s. Each drum break and percussive loop was recorded and mixed to give a distinct warm tone, color and character to the live venue and equipment used. Microphones used include Coles 4038 ribbon microphone and Shure SM57. Reel-to-reel tape saturation, natural atmospheres, and analog processing equipment were the main components to achieve this: Chandler TG2 Abbey Road, UA 1176, Teletronix LA2A and others. Drums In Color is a must have in any music producer’s toolbox.
The resulting audio files are mixed to the highest standards and delivered in high quality 24bit 44.1kHz WAV format, organized by metadata, including beats per minute and song key information where appropriate. Just drag and drop files into any DAW.
