Vintage Fluids

Vacuum Pro is a powerful combination of two distinct synthesizer parts that can be combined, separated, and layered to create spacious, wide, and rich analog sounds. Each Vacuum Pro part consists of two full-bandwidth tube oscillators that can be synced, detuned, and adjusted to different octaves. Additionally, Quad Detune controls for each oscillator allow you to quickly achieve a rich sound. For even more spaciousness, the built-in Doubling effect instantly expands and enriches your patch.

Shape your sound with two tube filters, including a traditional low-pass filter and a selectable high-pass/band-pass filter. Vacuum Pro also features four envelope generators, matrix modulation, and a tempo-synced LFO. The mixer features a control circuit and a ring modulator for shaping the tone. For an authentic analog sound, the Age controls let you control drift and add grit to your sounds.

A programming powerhouse

, Vacuum Pro comes with over 350 customizable patches created by renowned sound designers Richard Devine and Mark Ovenden. You can load these patches individually into each Vacuum Pro part to combine them and experiment with multitimbral sounds. 

For instant inspiration, Vacuum Pro features Smart Sound Randomization, which randomly generates new settings for one or both parts. Specify which modules you want to lock to their current settings, which will be randomly generated, and then let Smart Sound choose a patch for you.

Global Control

On the Smart page in Vacuum Pro, all individual parameter controls are condensed into eight macro knobs, allowing you to quickly fine-tune a patch’s sound without extensive tweaking. Macro knobs, such as Punch, Emphasis, and Complexity, simplify programming. Switch between micro and macro modes to quickly edit or create your own sounds.

Additional Effects

In addition to its authentic analog sound, Vacuum Pro includes a variety of creative tools typical of classic analog synthesizers. A built-in arpeggiator, which can be tempo-synced to your DAW, allows you to quickly create melodic parts and short sequences. 

Built-in chorus/phaser and delay effects add liveliness and dynamics to your Vacuum Pro patches. On-screen pitch bend and modulation wheels add expressiveness to any performance, and all parameters can be adjusted via MIDI for easy performance and automated control.
