Tantrum is a new take on digital distortion plug-ins, born from the same unique phase distortion as Temper, but developed into a much more powerful and dynamic sound. Tantrum has two stages of distortion. First, a waveform stage with five classic curve shapes from soft tape saturation to aggressive distortion. Next, a completely redesigned phase modulation distortion that passes the original input signal through a stereo delay to modulate the phase of the distorted signal, bringing a new subtlety to the “warmth” and a new aggression to the “overdrive”. Finally, Tantrum offers a great interface with reactive and interactive visualizations to help you get the sound you want.
