Introducing the AudioScape MK-609 Plugin

The original 1969 design on which this unit is based is better known as one of the most classic bus compressors in existence and is an integral part of some of the most famous large format consoles.

With built-in limiting and compression, two independent channels, and a compression style that WANTS to be heard, you can truly breathe life into any source.

Working directly with AudioScape, we stayed true to their philosophy of ‘more reality than re-creation’ and created a near-exact replica of the equipment on offer.

Limiter

Simplicity at its best. This limiter is a staple for a reason and works great as the final stage in your dynamics circuit to smooth out the source and ultimately add that final layer of control to your sound. Great for smoothing out drum transients, squeezing out bass guitar or even controlling vocals!

Compression

One of the most classic compression sounds found in large format consoles, with all the modern flexibility you need. Features 3 attack modes, 5 ratios and an additional SC HPF for clean compression on low-end heavy instruments or the mix bus. Turn on transparent compression or increase it to the maximum for a lively, punchy compression sound.
