CoreFX Suite is the ultimate effects package with all the essential tools for professional sound design: it includes a rhythm effect for modern productions, five plug-ins for precise dynamic control, three modulation effects for creating richness and space, and a new addition to the ability to automate basic processing tasks. All dynamics plug-ins display dry and wet waveforms in real time.

coreFX VolumeFormer

A pump effect without complex sidechain routing, which is created by rhythmically decreasing and increasing the volume. The envelope shape, i.e. decreasing and increasing, as well as the modulation frequency, for example to match the rhythm, can be freely adjusted. This creates a gate or sidechain effect, which is often found in house and EDM, but also in rock and pop music.

coreFX 2-Point-Compressor

This highly versatile compressor offers two input stages that compress peaks at different levels to varying degrees depending on the settings. This allows, for example, particularly loud sections to be effectively controlled, while the rest of the signal is only moderately attenuated. The audio signal cuts through the mix better without losing too much of its dynamics.

coreFX Compressor

CoreFX Compressor equalizes parts with different volume levels to create powerful mixes and smooth out peaks. The side chain filter and low pass filter provide finer details. A range of compression parameters from subtle to strong can be set without any problems.

coreFX Limiter

The quintessential mastering tool, coreFX Limiter sets a maximum output level for the audio signal that cannot be exceeded. With two transparent clipping options, you can radically reduce peaks and effortlessly increase volume.

coreFX Gate

CoreFX Gate suppresses background noise such as static or crosstalk for uninterrupted acoustic enjoyment. The gate can also operate more discreetly using precise threshold and decay time settings.

coreFX Expander

CoreFX Expander works as a companion to the compressor and allows you to achieve exceptionally accentuated sound. Louder impulses can be further amplified, and quieter ones even quieter. The dynamic range of the audio signal is expanded, and the envelope and tonal character of the signal are changed.

To calm the wild ups and downs of dance sounds at one end, the other keeps pulsating levels under control and smooths out dynamic waves with a steady hand. wizardFX Dynamics is like yin and yang, working with naturally impulsive bursts and as an EQ for different volume levels depending on the desired sound.

For pads that rise and fall rhythmically and basses that pulse to the beat of the kick drum, wizardFX VolumeFormer provides gating and sidechaining without any complex routing.

wizardFX Compressor

WizardFX Compressor is designed to keep dynamics under control without losing control. It adjusts loud and quiet passages and adds more punch to rhythmic instruments.

wizardFX Limiter

To limit excessive level peaks, wizardFX Limiter cuts audio signal peaks almost inaudibly and losslessly, helping to achieve higher volumes. This makes it ideal for mastering purposes as the last position in the signal chain.

wizardFX Gate

Reduces noise and ensures clear signals: wizardFX Gate helps keep noise under control when recording vocals and reduces crosstalk when recording from multiple microphones. Also ideal for creative stuttering effects!

Effects that make a difference

colorFX Suite – offers a wide palette for expressive sound coloring. Tape Machine combines the pulsating dynamics of analog hardware with the precision of virtual sound control. Bitcrusher takes the concept of digital distortion to a new level, providing more parameters for greater excitement. 

Tube Distortion gives the sound a singing quality that ranges from quiet and harmonic to fiery and crushing. With signal routing that can be filtered and modulated, colorFX can be used flexibly – as subtle emulsifiers for masters and grouped signals or to create a distinctive texture for individual tracks.

colorFX Tape Machine

Tape saturation produces more overtones in louder signals and can even be pushed to the point of distortion. Subtle pitch changes give tape recordings greater brightness. Tape speed and tape head mechanism enhance selective frequencies in the bass range, creating greater warmth.

colorFX Tape Machine combines the benefits of analog technology with the efficiency and flexibility of digital. Ideal for fine-tuning sound and dynamics in mastering and for colourful editing of individual instruments and vocals.

colorFX Bitcrusher

By reducing the resolution and bandwidth of the audio with lower bits and sample rates (e.g. 8-bit and 22 kHz), colorFX Bitcrusher can create distortions from aggressive to bright. The parameters can be freely modulated, which preserves the dynamics of the distortion and creates exciting variations in the sound. The aliasing and quantization of noise sound great here – not just for lo-fi fans.

By carefully blending distortions, colorFX Bitcrusher achieves concentrated and full sounds that are ideal for group and summed signals. On the other hand, the significant bit reduction allows you to send any track up in smoke and is just what you need for the perfect split.

colorFX Tube Distortion

Tubes don’t just get warm: they also create warm sounds. This is achieved by harmonic clipping at peak levels. These effects are great for enhancing a variety of instruments and vocals, and are essential for the classic tube amp sound.

When used to distort the midrange, the Color FX Tube Distortion provides a richly nuanced range of expression – for melodic and percussive instruments, vocals and even noise. Full overdrive supports harder musical styles, but also creates solo accents across genre boundaries.
