Recorded at Orb Studios in Austin, Texas, the goal of this release was to create a true workhorse, full saxophone library that could handle a variety of musical tasks with ambience and ease. Just play your parts and ride the modulation wheel!

Vibrato is a key feature. As with our Sasaki Trumpet release , we captured the natural, progressive vibrato present in Colin’s performances to make the sound as musical and believable as possible. We also provide both natural (untuned) and tuned versions of our patches – the former retaining the natural pitch shifts across the instrument’s range.

We have included two performance styles. Workhorse patches create an upbeat and energetic context. Great for jazz, rock and pop genres. Emotional patches were recorded soft with a more subtle, emotional vibrato for delicate and expressive passages.
