ClassicGuitar 2.0.0 is a classical guitar sample library. Soft, warm sound with rich bass. Perfect for any kind of fingerstyle. Recorded in stereo, dry sound without effects. Contains key switches, intelligent circular repeats for alternating notes, natural decay, natural vibrato and string muting samples.
Strum Speed
Here you can adjust the speed and direction of the string strokes (up-/downstroke). In automatic mode, the algorithm selects up-/downstroke, taking into account that on a real instrument upstroke is usually faster. The algorithm understands whether you play a single chord or a sequence. For example, for a single-chord intro, it automatically uses downstroke, like on a real guitar. The volume of the strokes is adjusted using Velocity Range .
Strum
Five special buttons allow you to use the Pluck & Chuck technique , where the strings are partially or completely muted during performance. This adds rhythm and makes the sound more percussive, which is especially important for rhythm parts.
Strum Noise
This instrument records the noise from the strings struck separately from the notes. It is extremely difficult to create a realistic sound, especially when the original samples were recorded by fingerpicking individual strings. When playing a real strumming guitar, you can hear not only the sound of the notes, but also the characteristic noise from the contact of your fingernails or pick with the strings. To accurately convey these acoustic features, separate noise samples were added to each key. All noises are multi-layered, with the ability to adjust volume, speed, pitch, timbre and stereo panorama: this allows for flexible control of the sound.
True Legato
ClassicGuitar 2.0.0 uses true legato. You can play half-tone and whole-tone legato phrases, trills, octave legato and seventh-note legato. In addition, the legato technique allows you to play slides up/down: for this, it is enough to play three or more notes in a row legato.
Latch
Latch is like a sustain pedal on maximum. Press a key or a chord, and the notes continue to sound even if you take your fingers off the keys (just like when the sustain pedal is pressed). The sound will continue until you play a new chord or note, which will automatically replace the previous ones. An important nuance: the replacement only occurs when playing staccato. If you play legato, all the pressed notes will sound together – just like with normal use of the sustain pedal.
