The Koto 20 can be used as a solo instrument, but when combined with other Virtuoso Japanese Series libraries such as the Koto 13, Koto 17 and Shakuhachi , as well as orchestral instruments, it creates a vibrant and versatile ensemble.
As a historical note, the 20-string koto was created by Keiko Nosaka in 1969. The instrument originally had 20 strings, but later versions added an extra string.
