Curated with Bernard Herrmann’s Estate: Spitfire has collaborated exclusively with Bernard Herrmann’s estate to bring you a one-of-a-kind studio orchestra ensemble that directly reflects the composer’s iconic style.
Recorded at AIR Studios: This ensemble was recorded at Studio One, AIR Studios, under the guidance of renowned engineer Simon Rhodes, famous for his work on movies like Avatar, Spectre, Harry Potter, and There Will Be Blood.
Unique Instrumentation: The orchestra performances capture the essence of Herrmann’s preferences – bold, dynamic, and upfront. You’ll find patches featuring selected groups, unconventional instrument combinations, chords, effects, and much more.
Synth Patches Inspired by Herrmann: In the “advanced” folder, you’ll discover over 30 synth patches inspired by Herrmann’s innovative use of synthesizers alongside orchestral elements. These patches are easily controllable using the Mercury Synth GUI, a user-friendly interface designed for instant creativity.
