Not Able to install , it says no license found Help please
R2RCERTEST ESTA DAÑADO. O COMO LO ACTIVO. AYUDA POR FAVOR.
For Mac users do you have to disable SIP ?
Yes for the installation part, but you will run into another issue with the K’d file to replace the existing file. I have listed a way to fix that issue in the comments. This Cubase 13 release is working perfectly on Mac for me.
people who have an error of no license
kindly restart your pc
r2r silk emulator needs restart
Not working at all using V.R 12 Release

help with mc installation Licence not found it says
I’ve listed the instructions on how to get it working on Mac
Not working on Mac.
The installer is fine, but when running the script to replace the Cubase 13 file, the file type appears to be incorrect so you get a corruption error. Replace that file with the original Cubase 13 file and you get a license error.
The file you replaced the existing file with IS the right file. The problem is it overwrites a Cubase 13 [unix executable file] with a Cubase 13 [text file]
You can fix the issue easily by opening the window to the “Show Package Contents” directory where the replaced file is
1. Open terminal and type: chmod +x (drag file here)
2. Enter/return
You should see the file convert into a unix excutable file.
Now Cubase 13 should open…you might have to run the code block in the Instructions again, but it’s working perfectly for me on Mac ~Cheers
Exactly, Morgan!
The file to replace is from unknown provider and has not checked by malware

IMPORTANT: FOR MAC USERS!!!
Don’t get frustrated and lose hope when you followed the directions in the (Instructions.txt) and get unable to open error.
The issue stems from the Cubase 13 file in the [K’d] folder that you are instructed to replace the existing Cubase 13 file located: Applications > Cubase 13.app (right-click) “Show Package Contents” > “Content” > “MacOS” > (file here)
After installing, when you drag the K’d file to overwrite the existing file: a Unix Executable file is being replaced by a text file unfortunately.
So BEFORE you run the block of code located inside the Instructions (you’re still ok if you already did) but…
1. Leave the window to the “Show Package Contents” directory where the file is located open.
2. Open terminal and type: chmod +x (drag file here)
3. Enter/return
Your file should change to a Unix Executable file
Now finish by copying the block of code in the Instructions in terminal…enter/return…after it completes your Cubase 13 will definitely open. It is working perfectly on Mac for me
~Cheers
Hi Navee
Thank you for the assistance.
The chmod +x certainly did change the file type, however after running the code it still shows a licensing issue even after a reboot.
So the process is:
Install Cubase 13
Copy Cubase 13 txt and overwrite Cubase 13 file in \\contents\MacOS
Run chmod +x “FilePath to Cubase 13 txt file”
Run code from within instructions
Reboot
Load Cubase
License error
Any ideas and thank you
I have to ask, did you disable SIP, because that is the most important part of the installation?
I recall having license error issues with Nuendo 12 until I disabled SIP and did a clean reinstall.
Otherwise, yes, the process looks good…you don’t actually have to reboot.
Hi
Yes it is disabled as I have to when running Cubase 12.
This is why I tried a Parallels version so it was clean with SIP off.
Very strange issue but I may just wait for the next release.
Oh, I see…my use case is natively on Catalina and not through Parallels.
Have you tried just installing it on Mac natively and not on a VM version of Mac?
You nailed man. Thank you
Tried again with a new MacOS install in Parallels and same issue 🙁
Tried again with a new MacOS install in Parallels and same issue 🙁
Hey, I’m sure you’ve more than likely had success using Parallels with apps, but is there a reason you don’t just install it natively on your Mac instead of using a VM?
I’m running Catalina and it is working fine natively.
All
I figured out the issue on a Mac Silicon.
Install Cubase 13
Copy Cubase 13 txt and overwrite Cubase 13 file in \\contents\MacOS
Run chmod +x “FilePath to Cubase 13 txt file”
Run code from within instructions
After the code is ran, go to Applications\Cubase 13, right click and select Get Info. Then select Rosetta 2 and close Get Info box.
Now load Cubase.
This worked for me.
Cool!
Not working for me in Monterey.
Just curious the code to paste should be the whole thing at once as it appears on the nfo text?
Hey,
I have followed all the instructions in the comments section. the Replacement file works fine and the application opens but it says no valid license found. I am using Mac M2 Pro with Mac OS Sonama
Umair
Did you do the following:
After the code is ran, go to Applications\Cubase 13, right click and select Get Info. Then select Rosetta 2 and close Get Info box.
Hello Morgan,
Yes I tried it but it still says the same. Is there any other way I could make it work?
Thanks,
Umair
The Run chmod +x “FilePath to Cubase 13 txt file”. part is not changing the file…
Any ideas pls?
Rage
Make sure you drag the file over after you type “chmod +X” so it should read:
chmod+X /Applications/Cubase\ 13.app/Contents/MacOS/Cubase\ 13
Or just drag that text into terminal.
Hi, when I paste the text “chmod+X /Applications/Cubase\ 13.app/Contents/MacOS/Cubase\ 13” into Terminal it says “zsh: no such file or directory: chmod+X/Applications/Cubase 13.app/Contents/MacOS/Cubase 13”. Any help? Thank you in advance
Ok, I did it…. I tried to copy paste from here but never worked to change the file…
Writing it from scratch did the thing just fine!!!
Thanks!!!
it works well on the mac but I can’t find and I don’t know how to download the basic contents, halion grooveagent loop etc etc any help?
Seit heute ist ein speichern der Projekte nicht mehr möglich…Cubase 13 stürzt ab :-/
