Test Press – KOAN Sound ‘Acoustic Design’

Acoustic Design is a collection of sounds created solely through creative processing of acoustic sources. It is primarily a library of drums and percussion instruments recorded, played and processed by ourselves (KOAN Sound). We covered a range of genres and tempos such as drum and bass, garage and hip-hop, and created a unique acoustic sound adapted to modern production styles. We also explored the potential of other acoustic instruments, creating neurobass sounds from double bass recordings and ambient piano textures, which is an extension of our sound design principles and philosophy.
