Many have tried and failed to get close to the authentic Hypersaw and Supersaw sounds – until now! NAVIRA is the first VSTi synthesizer to faithfully reproduce the signature sound of the Roland JP-8000 and Virus TI.
Built from the ground up, NAVIRA’s powerful sound engine delivers outstanding rich, bright, and deep sounding patches. With high quality filters and a detonation section, this engine gives any producer the ability to accurately model the hallmarks of Roland and Virus.
LEGENDARY OSCILLATORS AND DETONATORS: The
high-quality, wide and thick sound we achieve comes from the precision of our Supersaw and Hypersaw oscillators (modes A and B).
We’ve tested the waveforms generated by the oscillators countless times to determine how to achieve the precise Supersaw/Hypersaw sound you get from the JP-8000 and Virus TI with the same fatness.
In addition to the oscillators, we also reproduced the Detune section. This allowed us to emulate the exact wave behavior of the original synths. Even with a lot of detuning, you get a wide, rich, powerful sound.
Conversely, with a small amount of detuning, you get a clean, delicate, subtle and very determined sound. With the same outstanding quality, of course…
LEGENDARY FILTERING:
Navira filters, like the rest of the components, exactly repeat the analog counterparts of the original synthesizers. Starting with high quality oscillators, the waveforms are tuned out, then passed through a filter section that recreates the most iconic and legendary subtractive sounds.
Navira has 8 types of filtering, each with its own distinctive features that make the sound amazingly clear and punchy, so it blends in seamlessly with the rest of your work. Each filter type offers envelope modulation and LFO. OPTIONAL OSCILLATORS:
In addition to the main oscillators, Navira has 3 more designed to decorate the sonic cake!
Punch – adds attack, amplification and clarity to the sound.
Sub – Adds a low frequency component to bring lead sounds to life with fullness and body.
Noise – Adds characteristic noise to saturate the sound at all frequencies.
