The Very Loud Indeed Co. – Omnisphere Corvus for Spectrasonic’s Omnisphere 2

Omnisphere Corvus is a collection of 120 cinematic patches for the Omnisphere 2/3 synthesizer. It features 126 exclusive sound sources, recorded and developed specifically for this sound pack. It uses only these new sound sources, not the standard ones from Omnisphere or any other sound pack.

As with our previous Omnisphere sound pack, Omnisphere Cobalt, we took a different approach to creating patches in Corvus. We developed a large number of sounds using various synthesizers. We then recorded these sounds, ran them through a variety of strange processors, and finally used them as input data in Omnisphere. The result is a collection of patches that sound organic yet have an inorganic origin, giving them a unique character.

Corvus has a slightly retro sound, combining all the delights of modern synthesis, and is suitable for creating tense, dark dramatic and action scenes.

Omnisphere Corvus makes extensive use of the modulation wheel. In many cases, it can completely transform a patch, turning it into something entirely different, so we encourage you to experiment with it.
