Reverb and Delay That Don’t Clutter

Adding just enough reverb to create ambience without overwhelming a mix is ​​usually nearly impossible. Well, it was. By sending only the most noticeable parts of the signal to reverb, you achieve ambience while maintaining signal clarity. By sending subtler parts of the signal instead, you can fill in the voids in the sound without drowning out the transients in the reverb. And the same is true with delay.
