If this is your first Waves installation, skip this step.
Run the included “R2R_Kill_Waves_Background_Process.cmd”.
Make sure COSMOS.exe, WavesLocalServer.exe, WavesPluginServer.exe are not running.
Delete the previous version.
Uninstall Wave Central.

Run our setup and install.
If you need NKS you also need to install VST2. Don’t forget to add the VST2 path to Komplete Kontrol.
Scan or rescan plugins from your DAW. If you have upgraded, it is recommended that you perform a full rescan.
If you are using sample-based tools, find the path to the tools from app launch or GUI.

Restarting Waves Background Servers

This is useful when a background process is doing something wrong.
When the background servers are not working properly, the following issue occurs.
* Plugin scanning error (WaveShells returns 0 plugins)
* Preinstalled browser does not work
* COSMOS (also in CR8 Sampler browser) does not start or exits without license error
Run the included “R2R_Kill_Waves_Background_Process.cmd”.
Run these EXEs manually.
“%PROGRAMDATA%\Waves Audio\WavesLocalServer
\WavesLocalServer.bundle\Contents\Win64\WavesLocalServer.exe”
Then rescan the plugin.

TEAM R2R 2022
How do I set it up? I recently tried it but when I tried to run it on the DAWs it needed licensed?
The plugin installation froze around 60 percent repeatedly.. The Waves 13 version I use works fine..
got new pc, new windows with nothing installed, then installed cubase 12 VR, then installed this version of waves. install was all fine but does not show in DAW. rescaning after that wavesLocalServer.exe does not scan anything..
any idea?
