Personally tested on Macbook AIR M1 Mac OS Monterey 12.6.1
MacBook Pro 14 M1PRO macOS Ventura 13.2

Installation bundled with the current distribution from v2023.01.17 for M1(Apple Silicon)
Waves fully fixed + R2R keygen release
Install Waves.
Replace “Waves License Engine” in
//Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules/Waves License Engine.bundle/Contents/macOS/
Codesign Waves License Engine.bundle if required.
Replace “index.js ” in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/
Replace “app.asar” in
/Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/
Launch R2R KeyGen on Windows.
Enter the device ID in the keygen.
You can find the devices and their ID on the Licenses tab in Waves Central.
Generate *.wle license.
Copy the *.wle license to
[Computer License]
/Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses/
[Removable Media License]
(Device)/Waves/Licenses/
Thanks to R2R for updating the keygen for RETSU!
6.Restart
7. Run the `/Applications/Waves/WavesShells\ V14/Waves\ AU\ Reg\ Utility\ 14.app` and click `Let’s Go`. This will identify the installed plugins.
Items 6 and 7 are required (OTHERWISE THE DAW WILL NOT SEE the plugins)
 
New Installation M1(ARM) taken from previous distributions
REMOVING OLD VERSIONS
sudo rm -rf /Applications/Waves
sudo rm -rf /Users/Shared/Waves
sudo rm -rf /Library/Preferences/Waves\ Preferences
sudo rm -rf /Library/Logs/Waves\ Audio
sudo rm -rf / Library/Caches/Waves
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves\ Audio/
RESTART
DOWNLOAD waves central v13…
1. Download and install **Waves Central v13.5.3**
PUT waves central IN THE FOLDER WITH PROGRAMS AND OPEN
LOG IN TO ACCOUNT AND INSTALL THE REQUIRED PLUGINS
TO USE THE MEDICINE FROM RET
FOR KEYGEN WILL NEED A NUMBER, it can be viewed in the Waves Central / Licenses / Devices program, ONLY BEFORE THIS, DISCONNECT THE INTERNET AND SELECT OFFLINE INSTALLATION, then you can see the NUMBER of your poppy
FILE WavesLicenseEngine.bundle FROM FOLDER RET/ PATCH/ … COPY AND REPLACE THEM /Library/Application Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
FILE LICENSE FROM KEYGEN PUT ALONG THE PATH /Library/Application Support/Waves/Licenses/
ENTER COMMANDS FOR THE TERMINAL
xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
killall WavesLocalServer & rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer
AFTER RESTART COMMANDS
OPEN AU Reg Utility FROM PROGRAM FOLDER/ WAVES/ WaveShells V14/
FOR SPACE REPLACE
5. Replace “index.js” in
/Library/Application Support/Waves/COSMOS/HTML/
6. Replace “app.asar” in
/Applications/Waves/COSMOS/COSMOS.app/Contents/Resources/
 
Logic pro X Can’t see AU plugins – IS THE PROGRAM [AU Reg Utility] ?
ENTER COMMANDS FOR THE TERMINAL
xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle
killall WavesLocalServer & rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer
AFTER RESTART COMMANDS
Download Waves Complete v2023.01.17

      1. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make it work on my M1 Mac. Neither as an update nor as a new install. I’m reverting back to Waves Complete 14 v12.09.22.

  3. this worked for me but my m1 mac now goes very sloooooooooooooooooooow when I open any audio app, I finally decided to remove Waves fully (included some files from Startup Elements)

  4. licenses won’t work, I tried on my M2 pro mac mini, can’t manage to get the license to work.
    logic and Live see the plugins but they won’t work because the license:

    I’ve been following the Video step by Step,
    There’s an ISSUE, the file called “waveLicenseEngine.Bundle” comes without extension in the Patch folder. ( without .bundle )
    so I had to Copy the file and add the extension manually and honestly don’t know if This is the actual problem for the license.
    any help?

  5. apparently that’s the issue, the file is damaged.
    I also tried to download it again from the installation video on YouTube ( there’s a link in the description )
    but it’s corrupted and applications crash.

    we need this file !

  6. ok it worked! the Terminal command present in the original download are wrong. ( I imagine the Codesign one is the one) from YouTube you get the good ones! here we are folks.
    follow the video link, in the description you get the good Patch file ( the Bundle ) and follow then with those commands:

    xattr -cr /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

    sudo codesign –force –deep –sign – /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/Modules/WavesLicenseEngine.bundle

    killall WavesLocalServer & rm -rf /Library/Application\ Support/Waves/WavesLocalServer
