Syn’X is a polytimbral synthesizer inspired by the synth part of the legendary Italian synthesizer from the 80s, while its multi-layered card-based architecture is inspired by complex hardware analog monsters such as the Oberheim Matrix 12.
It offers a striking combination of clean and punchy DCOs with cutting multi-mode analog filters, just like its predecessor, one of the last vintage polyphonic analog synths and a piece of synthesis history, including the famous BBD Chorus!
Syn’X is multi-timbral, you can use up to 16 oscillators, 8 analog 0df filters, 32 DADSR envelopes and modulation matrices addressed to any of 132 possible directions to create your own patches when the 300 presets of the factory library are not enough.
Easy mode lets you take advantage of a powerful yet intuitive and streamlined programming environment, similar to the miniSyn’X duotone synthesizer, but with the added power of additional envelopes, LFOs, and more.
Advanced Mode unlocks the full power of Syn’X 2 for creating thick, complex, and unique patches, but with a completely redesigned and faster workflow.
