Get customized processing for your tracks and mixes. The DS-10 Drum Shaper features three modes (Kick, Snare, and Bus), each individually tuned and optimized to deliver the best sound for the desired source.

Kick Mode

Kick mode is optimized for processing isolated tracks or bass drum samples. Make your kick huge, dense, and spacious, or dial in the perfect tight, powerful kick to cut through the mix.

Snare Mode

SNARE mode is optimized for processing isolated snare tracks or samples. Bring out that powerful, ringing shotgun sound or find the perfect dry, powerful snare to cut through the mix.

BUS Mode

BUS mode is optimized for processing the entire drum mix. Use it when you want to enhance a drum bus or drum loop.

The Natural setting offers natural, artifact-free mixes, even when pushing your sound to the extreme. It sounds great with most sources, even complex instruments like full kits and drum loops.

Smooth Tuning

The Smooth tuning has a long release time that produces a buttery, smooth, parallel compression effect. It sounds great on most sources, even complex instruments like full kits and drum loops.

Attack

Increase or decrease the volume of the attack part of the sound.

Sustain

Increase or decrease the volume of the sustain (post-attack) portion of the sound.

MOJO

MOJO allows you to shape attack and deliver punch in selected frequency ranges without affecting others. Control the bass drum’s low-end density, add or subtract midrange from the snare, or fine-tune the high-frequency presence of the drum mix.
