Edu Prado Sounds – Extended Mandolin

Extended Mandolin is a creative Kontakt library with a special sound. It is a new collaboration between Edu Prado Sounds and composer Ian Pfitzer and is a continuation of our Extended Series libraries with the same concept as Extended Guitar.

Extended Mandolin elevates the raw sound of the bowed mandolin with four virtual instruments: Bowed , Bowed Motion , Pads and Pad Motion . The library offers a convenient and intuitive interface with a large selection of built-in effects for fast, stunning results.

The Bowed patch comes with 7 articulations: Long , Con Sordino , Sul Pont , Tremolo , Spiccato , Col Legno , and Release . In Bowed Motion, each articulation is individually modulated and synced to your DAW’s tempo, creating endless movement with just one keystroke. The Pads patch features 4 uniquely crafted pads created from bowed samples. And in Pad Motion, these pads are individually modulated, just like the Bowed Motion .
