Ample Sound – Ample China Erhu for WiN

Erhu is an ancient Chinese bowed musical instrument with two metal strings.

Ample China Erhu (ACEH) is sampled from three erhus in C, D and low G tunings, including head, body and legato articulations, effect sounds, and a select collection of improvised phrases.

• Artist: Ying Wang (Ph.D. in Erhu, Central Conservatory of Music).
• Instrument: Ample China Erhu, sampled from three Erhus tuned to C, D, and low G. The root notes (D3-G5) are sampled from a standard D Erhu. The lower notes (G2~C#3) are sampled from a C-low G Erhu.
