The SWAM Solo Strings package brings together a full range of expressive string instruments—violin, viola, cello, and double bass—into a single collection.
Using physical modeling, each instrument responds to the performer’s movements in real time, recreating the natural interaction of bow and string with smooth articulation and continuous control. Designed to work together as a unified system, the package enables the creation of rich, expressive arrangements with consistent and realistic sound across the entire range of string instruments.
SWAM (Synchronous Waves Acoustic Modeling) is a sophisticated, patented, next-generation technology that enables musicians, performers, and composers to overcome the classic limitations of traditional samplers. Developed by Stefano Lucato and Emanuele Parravicini, the SWAM engine combines physical and behavioral modeling concepts with a multi-vector/phase-synchronous sample morphing method.
The SWAM engine is ideal for multi-vector expressive acoustic instruments such as woodwinds, brass, and bowed strings. Three engine versions are currently available: SWAM-B, SWAM-W, and SWAM-S, for modeling brass, woodwinds, and bowed strings.

For you people who aren’t with the times… This is a SYNTH! It’s like serum, osc3, ya know the thing? The thing with the keys and knobs that go brrr, boom and ding, bzrrrzssz??? It’s called physical modeling this is the peak of it; besides pianoteq or whatever doing the realist piano sound you’d ever hear in 80mbs or so… it’s the future and we’re here. You don’t need a 100gb spitfire kontakt archive anymore… …this torrent isn’t labeled as R2R or VR so I’d look elsewhere or wait for a new release.

I like this library a lot but, it devours my CPU very fast 😪
