A few years ago we created the original one-page wonder; Babylon. The sound and simplicity of this synth was an instant hit with users, and with so much positive feedback we couldn’t wait to dive back into development – adding more and better features. Now, after a complete redesign, Babylon is back, baby!

Babylon 2 offers all the simplicity of its single-page predecessor, but now with a renewed focus on multi-voice oscillators and morphing wavetables. Babylon 2’s multi-voice oscillators not only feature the traditional stereo unison and detune capabilities, but also completely new modes. Dive into the depths of sound creation, offering seamless waveform mixing with Multi mode and real-time morphing with Quad mode. No longer limited to predefined waveforms, the new W-Lab wavetable editor helps you create unique tones and changing timbres. Easily create, modify or even import your own WAV files, giving you unrivaled creative freedom to explore uncharted sonic territory.

Discover new filters and effects

Expand your sonic palette with Babylon 2’s extensive range of filter types, including for the first time SVF, IIR and Bi-quad filters, as well as classic and more experimental options. Experience a wealth of improved reverb, delay, distortion and a newly added effect for brain-twisting tempo-synced phasing.

Dynamic Control: Endless Possibilities

Take control of your sound’s dynamics with Babylon 2’s intuitive curve editor for envelope modulators, making it easy to create evolving sounds. Babylon version 2 introduces additional envelope followers and two new key-track modulators, each with precise line editors. Of course, the previous LFO, vibrato and envelope modulators are still as powerful as ever.

Tune Every Note

Explore otherworldly scales and tunings with Babylon 2’s innovative microtonal tuning. New in version 2, you can now tune every single note up to 11 octaves in cents. The scale bank contains 23 standard scales and 34 additional scales from far-flung places – some using quarter tones for exotic musical moments.

Rhythm of Life

Add rhythmic momentum to your music with Babylon 2’s powerful new arpeggiator. Create complex patterns with ease thanks to the intelligent pattern generator and adjustable population and complexity parameters.
