INTENSITY is a new type of audio processor for mixing, mastering and sound design. Well, except that description would be completely inaccurate, since INTENSITY is absolutely not a compressor and works entirely differently. It has no RMS detector, threshold, ratio, attack time, or release. It doesn’t pump or modulate in any other way. It doesn’t overdrive and it works regardless of absolute values or input signal type.

However, the compressor analogy gives you an idea of when to use it and for what.
