Audio Brewers – Piano Toy (Stereo)

In our search for perfecting the craft of Sampling, we are extremely proud to present Piano Toy a small instrument made huge, thanks to our dedication and innovative techniques in recording, mixing, and developing Sample Libraries.

Starting from the recording session, the Piano was recorded and mixed using three perspectives: Inside, Musician and Far where, thanks to our three-dimensional recording and mixing expertise, help you experience the instrument in the utmost realistic way.

The Mixes

The ‘Inside’ Mix will submerge you in the instrument and you will hear its resonance embrace you. It has a huge image and no directionality.

The ‘Musician’ Mix will have the Piano at the tip of your fingers, and you will feel the perfect realism while playing. The perfect balance between directionality and image.

The ‘Far’ mix provides a more distant kind of sound, perfect for when you want to use the piano as background of your music. It’s very directional and its image is very narrow.

Because Piano Toy was recorded and mixed both in Ambisonics and Stereo, no matter if your music is in Stereo, Surround, Atmos, for VR or even for custom speaker arrays, the results will always be as close to reality as they can get!

The Articulations

Our main aim when sampling Piano Toy was to offer the best of the best! To do that we went all the way and not only sampled the typical Sustains any other library would – but also sampled they Keystrokes for utmost realism in the action…

And well, we also took the liberty to go for a Muted, a Plucked and even a Felt version: Can you imagine a Felt Piano Toy? Well now you can play it!

Finally, to create the perfect complement for the acoustic articulations, we designed 10 Pads that will sit in the background of ‘Piano Toy’ comfortably! All the Pads loop perfectly and were designed BOTH in Stereo AND Ambisonics, so no matter your speaker array, you will feel the sound embrace you!

Six octaves of impeccable sound

Thanks to our Sample Deconstruction technique (developed for Tangent Drum), we bring you ‘Piano Toy’ as a 6-octave instrument, free of any of those glitches traditional pitch shifting produces. You can now play a proper real Piano Toy throughout most of your keyboard with beautiful results!

The results are extremely high quality sound as well as crazy clean playability!

Piano Toy comes in our powerful engine, meaning you will be able to manipulate the sound to even the most extreme extends – compatible with Touch Screens, with a completely routable set of effects, flexible modulators, Arpeggiator and a unique Layered version for you to have fun with!
