Slate Trigger 2 and TCI files

Slate Trigger 2 is a plugin for replacing and enhancing drum sounds in your DAW. It analyzes the drum audio track (kick, snare, toms), highlights attack and sustain moments, and then matches them with TCI files.

TCI files are audio images containing a complete recording of the drum sound (attack, sustain, timbral nuances) and multiple variations of drum hits of different volumes (velocity layers).

Slate Trigger 2 generates a new sound by combining the attack of TCI files with the sustain of the original (or replacing it entirely), preserving the dynamics of your playing. TCI are not just WAV samples, but optimized data for the Slate Trigger 2 algorithm , automatically adjusting to the volume and character of your audio track and allowing you to mix attack and sustain.
