PSPaudioware – PSP stereoController2 v2.0.2 for WiN

PSP stereoController2 is designed to manage, configure and restore incorrectly recorded two-channel stereo tracks, as well as to process them in specialized applications or to create cool sound effects.

PSP stereoController2 can be used in various situations
  • An unbalanced stereo image due to level differences between channels, such as in stereo recordings with two microphones
  • Slight time alignment shift between channels
  • The stereo image of the track is too narrow or too wide for mixing
  • When the central instrument appears to be shifted to one side
  • Virtually simulates the position of an instrument in the sound field using a combination of level and delay changes.
  • One or both channels have reverse polarity, or the channels have swapped
  • Decoding a mid-range (MS) encoded track to L/R stereo.
  • Reducing the stereo width of low frequencies or converting them to mono for proper reproduction by speakers or a subwoofer, or for reliable cutting of vinyl.
  • Increasing the stereo width of the high frequencies to produce more ‘airy’ harmonics and spaciousness
  • Fine-tuning the stereo image during mastering
