It is fascinating in how many ways the sound of a stringed instrument can be shaped just by how and where you apply the bow. Each section of a string ensemble is therefore capable of producing a kaleidoscope of colors and subtle timbres that can paint evocative and transcendent musical landscapes. 

This third installation of Synchron Duality Strings offers the main articulations of the series in soft as well as eerie and glassy tonal colors, depending on whether the notes are played flautando (close to the fingerboard) or ponticello (close to the bridge). The result is an array of tonal colors that give this exceptional collection its name, allowing your bow to transform into a brush to paint your musical masterpiece.
