XILS-lab – Oxium v2.0.1 for WiN

Oxium is a performance-oriented synthesizer offering both classic clean analog sound and modern timbres, with excellent real-time modulation capabilities, allowing you to play a synthesizer in ways you never imagined.

Thanks to a simple and intuitive user interface, Oxium is fast and easy to use.

Mainmodules

2 accumulated analog modeled oscillators (up to 8 per patch). PWM for all waveforms (freely working with indistinguishable aliasing of Saw, Triangle, Pulse and Square). Advanced scheduling/portamento mode for each oscillator / Hard sync and ring modulation between oscillators.

3rd generation filters with zero latency and feedback, self-resonance for all modes (LP 24/12, BP6/12, HP). Additional second filter for choice between formant filter, LP, BP, HP with accent or articulation parameters.

Flexible dual mixer architecture (one per filter) with fully configurable series or parallel mode.

Modulators

3 freely assignable DsyncADSR envelopes.

3 multi-wave LFOs with mono/poly mode, MIDI sync, delay, transition and note retrigger parameters. Exclusive Le Masque 2nd generation controller modulator, with 16 freely drawable zones (masks). Each mask has two level parameters, can be triggered or controlled by an envelope, the grid has vertical and horizontal snap modes. Templates can be saved and loaded. 3 trigger modes.

Central modulation environment: 6 freely assignable pairs of source/destination parameters, 3 additional pre-wired pairs for common musical gestures (vibrato, tremolo, auto-wa), 6 wired slots for real-time controllers (Mod Wheel, Pitch Bend, Aftertouch, Breath Controller). All parameters are MIDI-controlled.

Playback

An advanced poly/mono arpeggiator with fully customizable note order, gate, and swing parameters. 8 playback modes (5 polygonal and 3 mono) allow for a variety of keyboard playing techniques. Deep integration and interaction between playback modes, arpeggiator modes, modulation, and the sound engine for each voice core for organic and expressive instruments.

Up to 8 Unison voices with Tune Spread, Oscillator Drift, and Output Vintage parameters to model multiple aspects of analog hardware synthesizers. A unique modulation randomizer: use these 4 parameters to customize large patches to life.
