Create beautiful notes and harmonies with just the click of a mouse. Predictor is a plugin and app that generates notes, triads, and voicings with simple clicks. It works by learning from existing MIDI files and then predicting new notes and chords. Perfect for quickly finding fresh ideas or overcoming creative block. A built-in MIDI library is included, but you can also upload any MIDI file—Predictor will learn from it. Predictor learns from any MIDI file to generate subsequent notes and voicings.

It’s a generative MIDI composition tool that analyzes the loaded MIDI file. It studies cadences, note relationships, velocity, compositional structure, modulations, and other parameters to predict new notes and chords, which you can then trigger with mouse clicks, a computer keyboard, or a MIDI controller. You control the rhythm—Predictor controls the notes.

Each press triggers the next predicted note or chord, so the development of a phrase depends entirely on your timing. This makes the process more expressive and “live”—you don’t just listen to generated ideas, but actively shape their development.

Despite its simple concept, Predictor can lead you in unexpected musical directions. Some things will work, some won’t, and that’s part of the process. The goal isn’t perfection, but exploration. With every click, you discover something new: a melody you wouldn’t have written yourself, a chord that changes the mood, or a sequence that launches a track.

Sometimes it feels random, sometimes almost magical. But either way, it moves you forward. Predictor doesn’t promise precision—it gives you momentum. And sometimes that’s exactly what you need.

Generation Ranges and Zones

Predictor determines the next notes based on the keyboard range you play in. It divides the keyboard into three zones:

• low (up to F2),
• middle (F2–F4), and
• high (from F4 and up).

This logic also applies to Circles Zone mode. You can trigger individual notes or chords in each range using the QWERTY keyboard or mouse clicks. With a MIDI controller, you gain

additional flexibility—the ability to play triads in any range, not just the midrange.

You control the rhythm

Predictor creates with you. It responds to your keystrokes, clicks, or MIDI controller signals, generating voiceovers and melodies. The rhythm is in your hands, and Predictor takes care of the rest, suggesting musical phrases to inspire a new idea.

Predictor determines which notes will come next, but it’s your timing that brings them to life. Each keystroke sets the groove and shapes the character of the phrase. You lead the rhythm, Predictor responds with sound.
