The Bass 3500 amplifier is a complete low-frequency amplification and recording kit designed to deliver powerful low frequencies, fast transient response, punch, and tonal flexibility. Modeled after the legendary Hartke HA3500 bass amplifier, the Bass 3500 retains the hallmarks of its hybrid preamplifier.

Users can independently mix the tube and solid-state preamps, combining harmonic warmth and richness with the clarity, definition, and instant response of solid-state circuitry.

Key Features

Hybrid Preamp:

Independently blends vacuum tube and solid-state stages for a combination of warmth, harmony, clarity, definition, and expression.

Built-in Compressor:

Controls transient peaks, smooths out dynamics, and adds weight and stability to the bass. An activity LED provides visual feedback during compression and limiting.

Ten-band Graphic EQ:

Provides ±15 dB of gain adjustment at 30 Hz, 64 Hz, 125 Hz, 250 Hz, 500 Hz, 1 kHz, 2 kHz, 3 kHz, 5 kHz, and 8 kHz.

Contour Controls:

Low- and high-pass controls shape the low-frequency region around 100 Hz and the high-frequency region around 10 kHz.

Preamp Effects:

Includes a noise gate, envelope filter, octaver, and Modern Tubes Drive. Each pedal can be dragged and reordered to customize the signal chain.

Cabinet and Recording Chain:

Includes four bass cabinet emulations, four microphone models, adjustable mic position, high-frequency controls, parallel DI processing, and three ambience options.

Dual Impulse Loader:

Loads and mixes up to two-way impulse signals with independent controls for level, pan, phase, solo, and mute.

Six-band Parametric EQ:

Provides detailed post-amp tone shaping with multiple filter types and adjustable frequency, gain, and Q parameters.

Post-amp Effects:

Includes a studio compressor, bass-optimized modulation, and analog delay. Each effect can be dragged to change the signal routing.

Cabinet Bypass:

Bypasses the entire cabinet, recording chain, and impulse loader section for use with outboard cabinet processors, impulse loaders, or a real power amp and subwoofer.
