Managing perceived size and scale

Upsizer changes the characteristics that determine how large a sound source appears, allowing you to directly control its perceived physical scale.

Use it for individual sounds, groups, loops, channels, or entire mixes, with mono or stereo material.

Upsizer FX is built around a single master control, SIZE. Increase it to go from a subtle increase in scale to a significant increase in volume and weighting of the source.

Unlike other tools that rely solely on volume or stereo width, Upsizer maintains the source sound at the center and forms supporting layers around it. Changes in tempo, pitch, spectrum, dynamics, and spatial positioning work together to increase the perceived physical size of the source. Twelve user-selectable source profiles tailor the response to different materials.

BODY TUNE allows you to focus the added enclosure where it best harmonizes with the source. In Full Mix mode, this control becomes MIX ROOT, maintaining the musical connection of the additional enclosure to the track.
