Muted Orchestral
Strings Sordino strings add three important articulations to Sonokinetic’s orchestral string collection, which are conveyed with Sordino, or Mute, on the strings. This is a very specific sound that will surely enchant and delight!
The Sordino strings were recorded as part of the Orchestral Strings family, in the same room, with full divisi and the same attention to detail. They perfectly complement the Sonokinetic Orchestral Strings and fulfill the need for a warmer and smoother sound.
All functionality of Sonokinetic Orchestral Strings has been ported to Sordino Strings, with the exception of MIDI export.
There is Poly-Legato and Auto Divisi to ensure the most realistic sound. No corner has been cut in the making of this product and it will continue to evolve for many years to come – we still have a few surprises up our sleeves that will improve your user experience and provide you with tools that are both useful and fun in equal measure.
The tool includes powerful midi engines: midi import, midi manipulation in real time, piano roll editor. The possibilities are almost limitless, yet very easily accessible if you just want to scratch the surface.
The Runs engine allows you to play chords and run runs that stick to those chords by simply playing the start and end keys.
The Phrases engine basically works like a sketch pad for patterns. 12 patterns are automatically saved with your instrument or DAW session, and a potential 12 x 12 x 12 phrases are saved for sharing between your instruments and projects.
These patterns can be played in a similar way to how our phrase-based tools work, and you can even drag-and-drop phrases from phrase-based products you already own and enjoy the huge advantage of flexibility that this Strings tool offers.
