Aaron Venture – Infinite Brass v1.6 [KONTAKT]

Welcome to the New Generation!
Infinite Brass is a collection of next-generation virtual brass instruments that let you play any part exactly as it sounds in your head – right on the keyboard without switching keys – and recreate your performance with fantastic, clear, modern sound in one of the 3 different spaces.
Create your own ensemble with 29 individual instruments and 13 different sounds. Whether you prefer a more centered sound for live performances or a wide sound
for film dubbing, the 58 positions allow you to create any layout you desire. Infinite Brass comes with 3 standard rooms: warm Mozarteum, pompous Bersa Hall
and dry studio. Atmosphere is created in real time through convolution using individual impulse responses unique to each position and room, so atmosphere is always 100% representative of performance. Phase-aligned samples don’t feel like crossfading between layers; the response is smooth, musical and sounds like the real thing.

Additional Information
Infinite Brass boasts one of the widest wind instrument ranges on the market and a consistent ppp to fff dynamic range across all instruments. All instruments have playable vibrato, flutter and growl, even all three at the same time.
Infinite Brass has been chromatically sampled at 48kHz/24bit. Despite all the features listed, these tools are among the lightest you’ll ever use, at only 14.0GB using only ~50MB of RAM per tool.

What’s NEW v1.6
Another big update for Infinite Brass. No new tools this time , but you’ll find quality improvements, new workflow compatibility features, audio improvements, new microphones, legato improvements, and more.
New microphones.
French horns now have an instrument microphone available for all positions. Instrument microphones are phenomenal for adding detail to the lines of your wind instruments. Even one of the horn ensemble will be enough to attract attention. Previously it was only present in the soloist position (where it replaced the standard Close mic in terms of distance), now you can switch between Close and Inst mics with a single click in the interface. It will work even if Mixed Mic is enabled, as the instrument will switch to a different set of mic mixes.
Update of low breaststrokes.
Since almost every other tool will be touched up at some point, now is the time to tighten up the “bones”.
Along with tone control, trombones now have fewer built-in lows and mids in the room. This low-mid stuff makes it sound full, but it will easily clog up your mix if you’re not careful, so I ended up in a situation where I needed to clean it up, but I couldn’t do anything without negatively impacting the overall sound. . the tone of the instruments, and judging by your feedback, you felt the same way. So now if you want to add it back, just add an external reverb, treble EQ and tweak it.
The pitch behavior mechanism has also been updated, so trombones will sound more believable in the lowest parts of their range. This, in turn, greatly improves the sound of a brass ensemble playing in unison. You will hear it both in the trumpets and in the horns.
Improvements and fixes:
1.6 includes a legato update for all instruments. Based on user feedback, legato has been optimized to be more user-friendly and will sound better when it comes to horns and trombones.
The Pitch Bend range is now unlocked. Note that the instruments are still sample-based, so you will get degraded in quality as the “bend” value increases.
Default stereo samples. This was done to somewhat counter the static nature of the impulse responses. Mono Compatibility will switch the instrument to single channel mode, increasing correlation when using close mics in exchange for a slightly more static stereo image.
Panning a close microphone will now more consistently follow the position of the instrument. The pipes also received stereo enhancements resulting in greater clarity.
Two bug fixes to look out for are note handling, which will reduce the chance of notes getting stuck when playback is stopped, and a phasing fix. In version 1.5, some users had completely random problems with phasing, and now this has been taken care of.
