Overview of the Fifth State of Matter:

This sound set for DUNE 3 offers a collection of 116 presets meticulously crafted for various musical elements. Wavetables made by Mark Holt in collaboration with other sound engineers. + 30 Midi files (over 100 combined patterns) from most audio demos (excluding leads). 

They are named identically to the corresponding preset. All patches are normalized for volume. (They are not clipped and have the same volume level when scanned between presets) Comprehensive modulation wheel assignment for all patches. Velocity sensitivity was also used in many patches when necessary.

Technical Details & System Requirements:

• The soundset is designed for use with Synapse Audio – DUNE 3 v3.6.0.
• Wavetables are provided in a separate folder to maintain organization and avoid duplication with common wavetables.
• The MIDI files are standard MIDI format (*.mid) and can be used as desired, for example, as patterns for the built-in arpeggiator.
• Format: SYNTH PRESET for DUNE 3
• Quality: 24-bit 48 kHz stereo

Installation Process:

1. Copy the “Fifth State of Matter Soundset TTU” folder to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Synapse Audio\DUNE 3\Soundbanks.
2. Copy the “Fifth State of Matter Wavetables” folder to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Synapse Audio\DUNE 3\Wavetables. This ensures a dedicated directory for the wavetables.
3. Optionally, to avoid duplicates, copy the contents of the “Fifth State of Matter Wavetables” folder to the shared wavetables directory for DUNE 3.
4. MIDI files in the “Fifth State of Matter MIDI” folder can be copied to C:\Users\UserName\Documents\Synapse Audio\DUNE 3\ArpMidi for use as patterns in the built-in arpeggiator.
