The Gainstation has 5 different sections for maximum creative control.
A dedicated preamplifier section allows the overall input and output levels to be varied from -24 dB to +24 dB. The input preamp cut control allows you to increase or decrease the harmonic distortion of the preamp, easily adding “color” to your signal source.
The EQ section consists of two Pultec-style bands: a Bass++ band and an Air++ band.
The Bass++ band affects both low-frequency response and harmonic distortion levels thanks to built-in preamp emulation. To increase the level of harmonics, simply select one of the 4 included emulations and adjust it using the preamp input trim control..
