Tape Echo’s multi-head architecture recreates the complex interactions of classic tape recorders with delay effects. The instrument’s Echo section features a select mode that allows you to customize various combinations of the three heads. Switch between head configurations to control rhythmic patterns, stereo movement, and repeat density, each with natural variations.

Preamp and chorus tailored to the character’s needs

Shape the signal in the Preamp section using Dirty, Clean, or Warm modes. Add spaciousness and width with the built-in chorus effect, which delivers classic modulation that enhances each repeat.

Live Feed behavior

Add motor drift, dips, and noise to recreate the whimsical instability and characteristic motion of real tape recorders with an echo effect. Combined with stereo offset and flexible dry and wet settings, Tape Echo creates delay effects that organically change over time.

Switchable player and natural synchronization

Control your audio with a moveable playback position that lets you adjust delay times in real time. Enable time signature sync while preserving the natural drift of the tape to achieve precise timing without losing the analog feel.

Built-in spring reverb and tone correction
