SplitS isn’t a de-essector, but rather a simple mixer that allows you to balance sibilance and separate a vocal track into sibilants and non-sibilants in a split second. The signal remains completely unchanged unless you adjust the volume, as the full-range signal is separated between sibilants and non-sibilants.

No compression, no EQ, no crossover

Since version 1.1, the S-Range function can detect the peak level of each S event, allowing you to set maximum volume or exclude insignificant events from the S channel. splitS was developed in close collaboration with Swiss mixer Thomas “Mr. T.” Gloor.
