Iconic Samples Included

Natural Drums includes a selection of custom electronic and acoustic drum samples, built-in and ready to use. Explore the sample menu to find iconic sounds, including two vintage drum kits from LABS by Spitfire Audio – 1975, a 1970s kit with a beefy 26-inch kick drum, and Animal, a custom kit from the 1940s.

This allows Natural Drums to be used as a VST/AU instrument that generates MIDI and audio, simplifying workflow in DAWs like Ableton Live, Cubase, Reaper, and GarageBand, while still allowing you to use your own instruments with the MIDIFX version of Natural Drums.

FLEXIBLE EXPORT OPTIONS MIDI

Drag and Drop You can export your pattern as a MIDI region by dragging the export button to the top right corner of the window. Use the mute and select buttons to export the entire pattern or just specific parts, whichever suits you best.

Audio

In the instrument version of Natural Drums, you can drag and drop audio files directly into your DAW or desktop.

Presets

Presets help you understand how your inputs affect the output pattern. Each preset can be tailored to your musical ideas using input templates. Use presets as a starting point. Create your own favorite presets and recall them even across different DAWs.

Shuffle Every Loop

Set the global shuffle mode to Shuffle Every Loop and watch Natural Drums recalculate the data at the beginning of each pattern according to your configuration. Just like a real drummer begins to subtly improvise on a rhythmic idea as they play a piece of music.

Trapifier

Find the Trapifier option in the Hi Hat drop-down menu and fill your pattern with trap-style hi-hats. Use the half-size button next to Trapifier. Adjust the settings to create your own hi-hat patterns with a huge amount of flexibility and variety right at your fingertips.

Snapshots

Work with multiple patterns in Natural Drums to quickly compare them and experiment with different ideas. Instantly switch between patterns for different parts of your track without having to open another window.

Swing

Customize the sound of your pattern with the swing control. Additional options are available to create custom rhythms suitable for any genre.
