The Model 51 EQ is a distinctive three-band inductive equalizer designed for bold, musical sound processing without sacrificing detail. Its fixed frequency ranges and carefully modeled frequency response make it quick to use: add weight, bring a source to the foreground, soften harshness, or open up the highs with wide, natural curves that are immediately ready for mixing.

It’s designed to fit seamlessly into tracks, buses, stems, and the mix bus: wide enough for quick tonal correction, but with enough control for more targeted correction work when needed.

The plugin features a clean EQ path for predictable curves, as well as an analog mode in which the EQ reacts more like a controlled circuit.

Input level, band gain, analog drive, amp stage, tone, and transformer allow you to adjust the clarity or dynamics of the EQ’s sound. It can remain smooth and high-quality, or become more assertive, tight, and responsive when you press the pedal.

The plugin can be quite processor-intensive when all analog stages are enabled and the quality is set to high. Therefore, most of the resource-intensive modeling can be enabled as needed.
