Everything you need, in one compressor !
With 4 modes, the ADC1 compressor gives you all the sticky compression you could ever want! Width control, wet/dry mix and oversampling are included in this compressor inspired by two of the most iconic compressor/limiters of the 50s and 60s. Disable analog mode for a flat EQ response ideal for a mix bus. The ADC1’s awesome compressor/limiter compression is perfect for drums and vocals!

Changelog (Developer’s note.)
Headroom knob : I got rid of it and just replaced it with in and out knobs. To start with, I’ve never liked headroom knobs and feel like the new inputs and outputs for gain cascading work a lot easier.
Main Input : This is one of the things where I tried to make it “close to the hardware” and it ended up hurting the plugin, so I added more gain to the input knob so you don’t even have to use gain cascading. more in the top bar (if you don’t want to)
THD knob : this just lets you choose which simulated saturation you want. Leave it at default if you don’t want to change anything, but now you can add more or less harmonics to each song mode.
autogain: This has been fixed so it works better with attack and release settings. (note that you can still get a slight increase in gain when using this. I always have a hard time choosing between perceived loudness and actual meter readings for auto gain, so it’s a bit between the
two ) suck), now you can read better from them, and at the same time they will not be nervous. I will also be adding some digital counters in a future update, just need some more time (probably with the sidechain and stereo link update).
Mixing knob: fixed, now it works as a wet and dry mixing knob.
So yes, there are a lot of changes, but I feel like this version represents what I originally wanted to release, much better!
This update will replace the previous version, so I’m still keeping the old version on the site in case anyone wants to revert to it.
the new update for ADC1 has changed a lot, I’m much happier.
Something else needs to be fixed for the next update….
That is : when analog is off, there is a hit to the lower limit, however it is different from analog. (Before this update, it was flat.) Also, when using OUT mode (so no compression), the level changes depending on the position of the release knob.
In any case, with the 1.0.1 update, the main obstacles to an optimal workflow have been removed.
Excellent tire and shock compression.
