Pyramix is a digital audio workstation used by professional studios and engineers around the world for music production, mastering, television and film editing.
Pyramix, combined with network audio interfaces, offers the only complete digital music production solution on the market with an audio format that sounds like analog to humans.
We enable music producers not to compromise on their music throughout the production chain and provide them with all the tools they need for widespread distribution, including the latest “next generation audio” streaming formats such as Dolby Atmos®.
Merging Technologies has partnered with companies like Flux Audio to bring amazing plug-ins to Pyramix, available at any resolution and with near-zero latency.
Did you think it was impossible to have low latency on a computer?
Analog sound is not only about sonic character, but also about immediacy. Electricity travels at 300 million meters per second, and that’s what a musician needs to be given for a great performance.
Merging Technologies has developed the MassCore engine that allows your DAW to run in real time. MassCore can be added to any Pyramix or Ovation system and provides significant extra power, IOPS and ultra-low latency.
Pyramix not only provides the most transparent analog DAW, but also provides advanced editing tools such as a unique source/destination mode that allows you to edit huge multi-track recordings at the speed of light, as if it were a simple mono track.
The Pyramix comes in many flavors to suit different budgets, but always make sure you can give the best sonic chance your music deserves with DSD/DXD. Pyramix has so much more for you… go and check out our full tour software packages!

Quick and Easy Dolby Atmos Render Control
To retain all the features of the Dolby Atmos renderer, including binaural monitoring and large speaker sets, while conserving CPU resources and providing the same user experience as the DAW-integrated renderer, Pyramix 14 now customizes the Dolby Atmos renderer to suit your project. at the push of a button.
Pyramix now automatically detects any Dolby Atmos renderers on your network and lets you simply select the one you need to connect to. No need to know much about the network and boring IP addresses, get started creating sound quickly.
Then just decide what your Pyramix mixer should be, hit “Update Renderer” and get to work immediately, no matter how complex your project is!
Importing Dolby Atmos ADM
Almost everyone can create songs in Dolby Atmos these days. This has led to the creation of a large amount of new content, which therefore requires proper mastering to meet the expected quality in the market. The core product of Dolby Atmos is the Dolby Atmos ADM BWF file. It is used to exchange Dolby Atmos content between workstations and for final delivery. In other words, it’s like a master tape that you bring in for mastering.
As the best mastering tool in the business, Pyramix now imports Dolby Atmos ADM files.
We designed this feature to give you the best speed when browsing ADM files (Pyramix can give you complete information about an ADM file without importing it), downloading a single ADM file, or assembling an album from multiple ADM files.
Pyramix can create an entire mixer to match an ADM file and plug it into a renderer for playback in seconds without a second thought. When loading multiple ADM files into your project, Pyramix can automatically map beds/objects to existing mixer buses, or give you the option to route them manually. Pyramix can keep the existing track configuration in an ADM file (to build an album of songs with the same structure) or remove any unused channels for optimization.
Exporting Dolby Atmos ADM
Content mastering also means exporting all the final results. This is another area where Pyramix excels, not only in sound processing, but also in speeding up work through complex automation and providing absolutely all the necessary metadata to meet the requirements of distributors and labels.
Pyramix 14 adds Dolby Atmos ADM export to its huge list of export formats.
The huge demand for Dolby Atmos from streaming platforms (Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon, etc.) is constantly growing, so there is huge pressure to repurpose existing CD catalogs into Dolby Atmos. This task requires meticulous work to preserve not only the artist’s original intent, but also the exact time, length, metadata, and track spacing of the original CD. This is a typical label requirement. Pyramix imports CDs (or zipped Pyramix Red Book files) with the world’s best sample rate and bit depth conversion, and more importantly, treats each track exactly as it was printed, with all CD text and UPC/ EAN. This allows you to then export Dolby Atmos ADM files,
To further streamline your workflow and give you more confidence, we’ve worked with trusted mastering engineers to introduce Apple, Universal, Sony, and Warner Brothers naming conventions when exporting your Dolby Atmos ADM from Pyramix.
Repackaging Existing Content In Dolby Atmos
Pyramix has been the most flexible immersive platform for over a decade, being one of the first to bring multichannel including 7.1, Auro, NHK 22.2, and other formats such as Ambisonic to 7th order.
It is very easy to fill any bus with any immersive sound. For example, routing the main Auro bus or Ambisonic bus to a Dolby Atmos bed is very easy thanks to built-in encoders/decoders.
If you want to retain as much spatial resolution as possible from your existing master channel, our unique Dolby Atmos hybrid buses are here to help. Any format can be sent to Dolby Atmos Renderer as long as some channels are rendered as objects (eg 9.1.6, 7.1.4, etc.).
The possibilities are endless… everything is as fast as pressing a button.
